Through events and fundraisers sponsored by Evergreen State Project and our amazing community of artists, cannabis enthusiasts, individuals, and organizations we raise funds and increase the public awareness of our cause. Helping those who need it the most.

The BoroDerby is an event dreamed up by Spokane glass artist Brandon Welk in 2010.

The concept is awesome and simple: build cars out of glass and race them down a Boy Scouts of America Pinewood Derby track. In 2012 this event became a reality.

The first BoroDerby was hosted in Spokane WA, and it proved to be a creative way for the newly established non-profit organization, the Evergreen State Project, to raise money for local charities. It was both fun and successful. Our first BoroDerby provided $6,000 to charity and by our third year we were able to donate $10,000.

The Evergreen State Project is a non-profit organization founded in 2012 in Spokane, WA. Our current drive is to assist the local families and organizations in need. We have previously contributed to Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Holy Family Emergency Room and Pediatrics, and Agape Home Women & Children’s Shelters.
